There was plenty of fresh, good food ( scrambled eggs, thin sliced bacon, fried potatoes, fresh biscuits, sausage gravy, French toast, bagels with cream cheese, salsa ( from a jar ), hot coffee and choice of juice. Anyway, we got there at 8 am as they stop serving at 10 am. ) The included Breakfast Buffet the next day was made available via a "text" sent to your smart phone which you had to show the Hostess ( which we thought was very weird to do ). ( See attached photos of the room issues. Toilet after being flushed would run until I took the tank cap off to pull the chain out of the flapper valve ( maybe fix this Ruby's inn? ), Never heard noise from the neighbors, but again the floors in our room made a terrible racket for ourselves and we are sure, the bottom floor guests. The Beds were fine as to comfort, however we found a live and dead bug on the top when getting unpacked, did they come in under the room door? Also found a long Balck Hair on top of the Bed when first arriving into our room ( this is why we told to allow even more time for "housekeeping" to do their job? ) Who knows, but we tore both beds down to check for bed bugs, as we carry bed bug spray with us just in case, we also saw the bedding was very worn, again, from being washed over the years?. So the stay itself was pretty good, not a lot of noise after the "fireworks" on the Ruby's Inn property, which were fun to see. WTF? I'm paying to rent your room from 4 pm until 11 am, hire more cleaning staff if need be. This as we saw other people checking inn early at 3:15 pm, and yes we know 4 pm is check in and at 4 pm we were told by staff that the room housekeeping was still being preformed and when given the room keys were asked to allow the cleaning staff "if" still there a more time to complete their task. The ceiling had a small rectangle hole, the bathroom wall had a unpainted patch job, the refrigerator worked fine but the cabinet in was in had squirted lotion ( we could only guess? ) running down the front. The toilet was very small and sits low, so know that as well. The room's A/C worked fine as did the Large Flat screen TV ( but no table listing of channels ). I know Ruby's Inn was sold out for the 4th so there was no getting another room, so that was out. I apologized ahead of time for the noise he and his family would hear from this floor creaking. As we were unloading our luggage I happened to run into our bottom floor neighbor who was also just getting there and unpacking. We decided to give it a try on July 4th as the rates seemed quite fair, we booked a 2 king room, top floor, #7273, I mention the room number as another Tripadvisor member posting here had mentioned the "creaking floors", and Yep, as soon as we walked into our room it was "crazy loud as to the creaking, anywhere and everywhere on the floor. We have visited Bryce Canyon at least 20 times in 40 years and had dinner at Ruby's Inn once and visited the Ruby's Inn gift shop as well. However, the amount of food you get for the price is excellent and the food is good. It is not crazy busy like the main area of Bryce but you may wait a few minutes for a table. I will eat there every time in future visits. HOWEVER, just 2 miles down the road is a great and very affordable restaurant called Pines or more formally "Bryce Canyon Pines Restaurant". NOTE: As of 17 March 2018, The Fosters Restaurant adjacent to this property is currently closed / under renovation with no re-open date provided so convenient food appears to be lacking for this away from the action hotel. I liked this place considering the price point and that I am not there for luxury but rather for a cheap and comfortable place to lay my head after hiking Bryce Canyon. The bathrooms are small but the showers are nice - truly a shower stall - not a tub with shower. The heating/ac unit is newer so it works very well (I kept warm during a windy snowstorm and 20F. The rooms are very simple - a bed, a small desk and a tv and a microwave and a small fridge. Their is nothing complicated about the check-in process. It is located a mere 3 or 4 miles from the hustle and bustle of Bryce near to the Park. This place was actually a nice deal for the price.
